The latin verb "tero" [TEH-roh] describes the action of wearing something down through repeated use. This vintage-inspired brand was made to pay homage to old, timeless looks. All of our designs are intended to show the beauty in the things that may look a little rough around the edges. All pieces are designed by my love for old clothing, hand me downs, and the stories that go along with them. My goal is to create products that look like they'd be found in a thrift shop or your grandparents' closet. With that in mind, the brand is centered around one saying that drives the creative vision: FOR OLD TIMES' SAKE
I’ve always loved fashion, but it wasn’t until college that I really started pursuing it—working retail, thrifting, and eventually reselling vintage online. That grew into pop-up shops and later led to a corporate merchandising internship in NYC. After graduating, I launched my brand Tero, inspired by old clothing and the memories tied to it. My grandma modeled the first collection—she’s the one who introduced me to clothing as a kid, and it felt right to bring it full circle.
